Almost everyone gets this common skin problem. The insensitive heat of the sun causes many problems, including suntan. However, many people have no problem with their skin tone. They love the way they look, but prolonged sun exposure can damage your skin deeply and may cause skin cancer, so be careful from direct sun exposure and prevent as much as possible.

Summer has its own beauty and brings joy in some ways. You can wear your favorite dress, funky, and light, but you may not like the harsh sun. This is why exposure does not only cause tan but also leads to skin problems like dark spots, and hyperpigmentation. Harmful UV radiation takes the skin of its moisture content and eventually makes it pale and dull.

Even wearing sunscreen, outdoor sunbathing is not risk-free, you need to protect your skin from sun exposure and harsh heat, we know the sun is a great source of vitamin D and you get it naturally. Mild exposure to UV rays accelerates the synthesis of vitamin D and melanin in the body, but spending too much time under the sun can cause various temporary and permanent skin problems like sunburn and even skin cancer.

How to get rid of tan naturally?
From ancient times, your kitchen ingredients Turmeric, Saffron, Sugar, and nut-based oils have been excellent healers of skin tanning. So, this article will talk about simple and natural home remedies that can help you remove tan and get healthy skin.

Whether you got a tan due to strolling around the city or relaxing at a beach destination for days together, these natural home remedies will help you in sun tan removal.

You can apply them to get rid of sun tan from all over your body, be it your neck, feet, arms, or hands.

Lemon Juice and Honey
Squeeze fresh lemon juice and mix some honey with it. Use the mixture on your skin and leave it for 30 minutes before washing off with a mild cleanser.

Some sugar can also be added with lemon juice to make a scrub. In addition to removing tan, this will also clear the dead cells from the surface.

How does it work?
Lemon has a bleaching effect that helps in getting rid of the tan. It is rich in vitamin C, which is a removal agent. The citric acid of lemon juice helps to the removal of acne and lightening of the marks.

But don't keep honey to remain on your skin too long.

Coconut milk
Soak a cotton ball in fresh and organic coconut milk and pat it all over the face. Let it leave till it is absorbed into the skin or dry completely. Wash it with a mild cleanser.

How does it work?
Coconut provides hydration and nourishment to your skin. It helps to restore the lost moisture. The vitamin C and the mild acids present in it help in tan removal at home.

Besides this, you can also try de-tanning treatments with coconut milk as the base.

Oatmeal and Buttermilk
Soak 2 teaspoons of oats or oatmeal in half a cup of water for about five minutes. Put 2-3 teaspoons of fresh, plain buttermilk to it and mix well. You can also put honey as well to make it more moisturizing. Mix these ingredients well to make a paste and then use it on your face, neck, arms, and other areas affected by tanning.

Rub in a circular motion and let it leave for about 20 minutes. Wash it then to see fresh, brighter-looking skin.
