Our feet also need good care. Dead skin, specks of dirt, and cuticles make your feet dull and infectious, along with cracking heels. Pedicures keep your feet relaxing, and rejuvenating, and in great shape. While many salons or spas provide this service, you can save money now by soaking and moisturizing your feet at home. It is absolutely free, you just have to pamper your feet. Once you’ve exfoliated your rough skin off your feet and cleaned off the surface of your nails with rubbing alcohol, you’re ready to apply some of your favorite nail polish! Begin with a clear base coat, added 2 layers of colored lacquer. Complete your salon-based pedicure with a clear and glittering topcoat. After finishing your polish dry for 1 hour, you’ll be ready to step out with refreshed and pampered feet.

Here are a few steps by doing you can get a salon-quality pedicure at home:
Soaking and Exfoliating Your Feet
First step: Remove your applied old nail polish from your toes with acetone. Soak a cotton ball or pad with acetone or nail polish remover and begin dabbing it over the surface of your nails. Do it on each nail individually, swiping over the surface nail repeatedly until all old polish is cleared off. If your toenails are uncovered to start, wipe them down with acetone to get rid of any excess oil that’s built upon the nail surface.

  • If you like to apply a product that doesn’t dry out your skin, try using other vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, or other household products. You can also alternate for a polish remover without acetone.
  • You may need to use more than 1 cotton ball or pad to remove all of the old polish successfully.

Fill a big bucket or basin with warm water
Keep this container in your bathroom, or wherever you plan on doing your pedicure. Fill the container or bucket with warm water. Put your fingers under the water first to ensure that the water is pleasantly warm, but not boiling. Make sure that you’re using a basin that’s large enough to fit both of your feet at once.

  • If you are concerned about any water overflowing, consider laying a towel beneath the basin ahead of time.
  • You can also fill your bathtub with several inches or centimeters of warm water if you haven't a basin on hand.

Include a large scoop of Epsom salts in the basin
Keep stirring the water with a large spoon until the salts dissolve completely. While you don’t have to add any salts to your foot soak, you’ll have a much more relaxing experience with this product added to your at-home pedicure.

  • Bath salts are acknowledged for relieving pain, as well as having relaxing qualities.

Soak your feet in the salt bath for 10 minutes to soften the skin
Put both feet in the basin and submerge them completely. Sit back and relax for at least 10 minutes, allowing your skin and nails to soften in the warm water. Until then, amuse yourself by reading a book or magazine or watching some TV program.

  • Set a timer so you can remember how long you’ve kept your feet in the salt soak.
  • Exfoliate your heels with a large file to remove dead skin and cracks

Lastly, trimming and grooming your toenails with clippers and then moisturizing your feet with a good cream or moisturizer as well as mask your feet by soaking them in a salt bath for 10 minutes. Clean your feet with a dry and clean towel, rub lotion, clean off nail surface with alcohol. Apply your clear base coat of nail polish and wait for 3- minutes for the base coat to dry, then apply another coat of any dark nail polish
