Animal testing is cruel, and shouldn't be practiced. Still, there are cosmetic companies around the world, that want their products to be tested on animals, and there is a specific reason for that.

When companies use objectionable ingredients and loads of chemicals, then it is necessary to test its reaction on the skin before it is launched in the market. Not too many people will line up to volunteer for this, therefore they test on animals.

This raises a question, why are these companies using harmful chemicals in the first place?

Are there fewer products in the market?

This again leads us to one answer, that is, profit.

Several cosmetic companies even today are working towards increasing their profits and that too by risking the lives of people. To minimize this risk, they test their chemical-loaded cosmetic products on animals.

Even if most of the companies are working with PETA and other animal welfare organizations, there are some countries, which make it mandatory for cosmetic products to be tested on animals before they can be launched in the market, and the sad part is that PETA and other animal welfare groups don't have access to those countries.

Note: Here I had said "THEY" test on animals. We do not test our products on animals, as we use organic and natural products.

Cosmetic companies that are indulging in animal testing, should opt for alternative testing methods and also start using organic and natural raw materials, which are not harmful to human skin. This will save time and effort for the companies as well as for the approving authorities.
