Surkanda Devi Temple: The famous Hindu temple near Kanatal, Uttarakhand, India. The temple is famous for the festival of GANGA DUSSEHRA. It is situated at the altitude of about 2756 meters and lies close to a nearby hill station and one can reach the temple by walking almost 3 kilometers from the parking area and in case you don't want to walk then the local vehicles are easily available to give a ride to the temple.

The best part about this temple is the snowfall. Now, you think what's so special about the snowfall, is that the snowfall begins from the temple and then the whole area of Kanatal will be covered by snow.

The residential area is also nearer to the temple and you can also cover the path from your hotels to the temple while doing trekking.

The whole area is covered with greenery and mountains, also you will find many shops and stalls of essential items.

From the temple, you will be able to see the whole area with beautiful greenery mixed with patches of white crystalline snow and that was so awesome that it will overwhelm you and you don't want to even blink your eyes for a second. When you feel the exposure to cold weather and the atmosphere around the temple then it will fill your soul with great satisfaction and the goodness of life.

I guess this is the best place to spend your vacations with family and friends.
