About the job

AVASO is seeking a Data or People Analyst to join our world-class People organization as we continue scaling at a rapid pace. The position is newly created as part of the fledgling People Analytics function at Avaso. You will get the opportunity to help influence and shape the People Analytics function at Avaso by expanding the utility of our current systems, data, and metrics to assist us in continuing to continue building the infrastructure and scale the function. This new role will partner with Analytics Team and the organization by collecting, processing, analyzing data, and uncovering actionable insights across the employee life cycle, performance, and total rewards. Helping directly or indirectly leads us to a people-focused strategy around attracting and retaining talent and optimizing organizational capability.

Purpose of this role

  • Ensure that data structuring and ethics are of the highest quality and data is ready for descriptive, inferential, predictive, and benchmarking analysis.
  • Support to the Global Compensation Team for data-related vendor management and relationship activities.
  • Support the delivery of all activities relating to people analytics - both Management and Administration for aligned countries/regions (as applicable).

What You'll Be Doing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the People organization to define, track and monitor organizational health metrics and highlight workforce opportunities.
  • Build out analyses and scalable dashboards to track initiatives' progress and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Generate actionable insights. Translate data into thoughtful and actionable narratives.
  • Communicate analyses, insights, inferences, implications, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Help leaders and HR professionals identify business challenges and use data analysis to influence change.
  • Use analytical tools to develop and analyze across groups and cross-functionality.
  • Work cross-functionally with subject matter experts in Finance, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and People Business Partners.
  • Link the data with performance and Total Rewards to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insights.
  • Assist in advanced analytics to drastically improve how Avaso identifies, attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
  • Help People with Analytics to unlock the power of data increasing rigor, reducing bias, and improving performance.

Level of Experience You'll Need

  • Experience in analytics of TA, operations, finance, and compensation data.
  • Consulting or corporate work experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 2+ years of experience in People/HR/Workforce Analytics.
  • Experience in conducting surveys, data cleaning, and structuring using statistical methods.
  • Experience in providing analytical support to at least two functions: hiring/talent acquisition/recruiting, compensation, and performance management.
  • 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and or Tableau.
  • Strong quantitative, technical, data visualization, and storytelling skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal Education: Any graduate (4 years experience) or MBA (2+ years of experience).
  • Communication: Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal). Multilingual will be preferred.
  • Analytical Tools: Advanced Excel, IBM SPSS, R, or Python
  • Visualization Tools: Excel, Power BI, and Tableau
  • Personal Traits: Reliable, proactive, and responsible
