Emami also acquired the Ayurvedic Hair & Scalp business of Kesh King as a business strategy in 2015. In January 2019, the company also acquired Creme 21, a German brand with strong roots & brand recall. 

In 2020, the company forayed more than 3100 people, reaches out to 45 lakh plus retail outlets through a network of over 2800+ distributors, and has invested in 7 plants, 4 regional offices, 1 overseas unit, 7 overseas subsidiaries, 26 distribution centers, and 2 Associates across India.

Why is its website not using HTTPS?
I thought might be IT Team of Emami would have kept some HTTP code in index.php or index.html, but it seems Emami has not applied for any security certificate for its website.

Well, it might not be necessary, as it is just for information purposes, and there is no personal information collection system on this website. Therefore, they might have opted out of HTTPS.

But if they would have used HTTPS, then their visibility will drastically increase across the globe. Also, people tend to trust HTTPS websites more as browsers like chrome show warnings for HTTP-only websites.
