When I say that I celebrate two (2) birthdays in a year, many people feel shocked and become confused.

Yes, that's true, and it's not just me, but all the people from my community share this phenomenon. I and my family members celebrate their birthdays twice a year.

This sounds amazing because you get twice the fun, and you also get twice the gifts every year on your birthday.

But why does this happens?
Well, there is no rocket science in this, but still, several communities celebrate their birthdays with the calendar that we use today and that is the English one. This year is 2022 and hence birthdays that will come in this year will be celebrated.

But in my case, my community has its calendar as well, which is created by looking at the constellations, and hence every year, when the constellations align at one point in time, then we celebrate our birthday, but then it is not sure if it will be same as the English calendar or not.

Is there a difference in celebrating two birthdays differently?
Yes, there are a lot of different ways by which we celebrate two birthdays. The English one will happen as everyone else does it. For example, we will get a birthday cake and invite family and friends for an evening party.

There are several surprises that people come up with, and some also go to restaurants to celebrate this birthday.

On the other hand, when we are celebrating our second birthday when all the constellations are aligned as per our birth, we go to our worship place and complete our rituals.

This is an important part of this ceremony, and then we cook food at home with different and tasty dishes. There is no cake on this occasion but we do have a family get-together, and we also invite our friends.

It's not necessary to bring gifts on our second birthday, but your presence is really important. It doesn't matter where are you in the world, you will take out time to invite others and attend their birthdays as well.

This is considered auspicious because this is again a time when your stars have aligned as per your birth date. 

This is amazing also, because the alignment of stars is similar to what happened 30 years ago, and it's like you are born again. Everyone is happy and when the family comes together on this day, they all help each other with cooking, and the kids play together.

This is an awesome time because this is the time of year when people get time to visit their families and connect with near and dear ones.

Can you experience this way of celebration?
Yes, of course, it's not specific to me or my community, anyone who wants to enjoy their birthdays twice can also follow this tradition.

But this will require you to commit to your birthdays, as you will have to figure out the constellation alignment at the time of your birth. This is awesome in the sense that you get an opportunity to explore yourself, and old cultures, which believed in the natural way of living and followed the stars and moon for calculating the days and time.

Having said that, one should try and ask your families and friends to come on this day, as this again allows you to connect, and hence you can do more networking and connect to everyone on an individual level.

What is it like to be the center of attraction?
This might be difficult for some people, as I can understand being the center of attraction for everyone is not an easy task.

It was never for me, as I was shy and introverted, but functions like these were always awesome because I was able to meet my cousins, and we used to play several games together.

For kids, these birthdays are always a great way of expressing themselves, because they get a bit of independence, and there is not much adult supervision, as everyone is busy with their work, and hence children play with each other.

But this is also good because children and cousins get to meet each other, and they can develop a bond together, because of which their relations pamper when they grow up.

Is there a set time for your second birthday?
No, my second birthday depends on the alignment of the stars as per my birthdate, therefore it's not confirmed, and it keeps on changing every year. 

But as we measure our birthdays with our English birthdays, therefore we can say, our second birthdays come after a few days from our English birthdays.

It may also happen that our second birthday has come before our English birthday, and this depends on the alignment of the stars.

So one can say that we can predict the alignment every year, but it might not be the same day as our English birthday. This is again fun because we get to celebrate our birthdays twice a year.

What do you give your date of birth proof in office and for other formal affairs?
Birthdays that we celebrate as per the alignment of stars are used for our purposes, but not for official use.

Therefore, we use our English birthdays as our date of birth and submit the same to our offices, schools, or for any other official or formal purpose.

Conclusion;
Having two birthdays in a year is awesome because we can have fun twice. Also, the opportunity to connect with families and friends together on this auspicious occasion makes our day fulfilling and special.

As there are no outings involved, we can spend our day at our home and enjoy ourselves with family and friends, and this also helps in saving costs.

The main reason to celebrate this birthday is to be close to our culture and tradition and the awesome fact that we are all connected to the stars, and how they align every year to make us remember our birth.

We all have that aura that is ignited again on this day to fuel our year.

This also helps in connecting with friends and close family members and enriches the bond that all of us share as a community.

I think this is something that everyone else should also experience and take part in as it helps every one of us to understand our roots and also explore some mysteries that are developed when we are born.
