Ramanuja statue also named the Statue of Equality is a statue of the 11th century Vaishnavite Saint Bhagavad Ramanuja, located at the premises of Chinna Jeeyar Trust at Muchintal. It was built commemorating 1000 years since his birth. Sri Tridandi China Jiyar Swamy Ji collected donations and bought this statue with all those donations.

Plan
In 2014, ascetic Chinna Jeeyar came up with the idea to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of Ramanuja's teaching by building a statue. The statue is constructed on an estimated 34 acres in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It consists of a 216-foot tall statue of Ramanuja and is surrounded by 108 Divyadesams (model temples) and includes an educational gallery. The project budget is Rs.1000 crore.

The foundation stone for the statue was laid by Chinna Jeeyar. The statue was built by Aerosun Corporation in China before being shipped to India. It is made of panchaloha, a combination of gold, silver, copper, brass, and titanium. According to the members of the trust, the statue relies on donations to fund its construction.

It was named the Statue of Equality by the trust. Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendar Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao integrated the statue on 5th February 2022.

Design
The statue is constructed on a base building that is 16.5 m tall. The base will contain a meditation hall where a small statue of Ramanuja made of 120 kg of gold, representing the years he lived, will be installed and will be created using panchaloha. The ground floor is 6000 square meters and depicts Ramanuja's life and philosophy.

Inauguration
Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi on Saturday integrated the Statue of Equality in Hyderabad to honor the 11th century Hindu Saint Sri Ramanujachaya. Hours ahead of the inauguration, PM Modi tweeted that the 216-foot tall statue is a "fitting tribute" to Sri Ramanujacharya, whose sacred thoughts and teachings inspire us.

The Vaishnavite saint advocated social equality. Many consider the propagation of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The World is One Family) his greatest contribution. It is said that many scholars followed his path and the works of ancient poets like Bhakt Ramdas, Kabir, and Meerabai were inspired by him.
