Job Description:
As a Senior Developer within the RealPage Delivery Planning & Insights group, you'll play a crucial role in preparing, maintaining, and enhancing a variety of reports and dashboards. These insights will empower different Business units at RealPage to make data-driven decisions, ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction, retention, and attraction.

• Collaborate as a Senior/Lead Member:
• Work closely with other team members and leaders to ensure timely delivery with the expected quality.
• Continuously strive for improvements in quality and efficiency.
• Understand Data Sources:
• Familiarize yourself with various data sources and types relevant to the businesses.
• This includes both on-premises (e.g., SQL/Oracle/File-based) and cloud-based (e.g., Salesforce/SharePoint/Azure/Genesys, etc.) data sources.

Requirements Analysis:

• Understand and analyze the requirements for reports and insights by closely collaborating with the team, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Document and communicate as needed.
• Data Processing and Transformation:
• Gather and process data from the required sources using the expected/optimal approach.
• Choose the right tools, technologies, and processes for each purpose.
• Update data models with appropriate data sources as applicable.

Effective Storytelling:

• Present insights and foresight through the right visual content.
• Plan the optimum volume of data and select appropriate caching/storage mechanisms.
• Anomaly Detection and Root Cause Analysis:
• Analyze data and insights to identify potential variances or anomalies and determine their root causes.

Recurrence Management:

• Manage and maintain recurrence as applicable using the right platforms, tools, and technologies.
• Prepare periodic business reviews and summarize reports into presentations as needed.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with stakeholders to customize reports as necessary.
• Be flexible to accommodate early or late meetings with people from different time zones (e.g., early US).

Process Adherence:

• Follow established processes closely while working with teammates.
• Detect and document defects, bugs, and errors.
• Register and track all project-related issues.
• Apply organizational standards and practices during implementation.
• Plan knowledge transition activities, such as project-specific knowledge transfer and application knowledge transfer.
• Extract relevant information from the knowledge management repository.
